Gota canal in Sweden
Gota canal in Sweden with boating stairs

I traveled many places in the world. I miss the special moments. Everywhere I went there were places visitors often. I go with the intention of going with others, never plan a travel until I get there. I've always wanted to see the Panama Canal and sail the Panama and the private islands on the ships it sails. It's interesting to go on Gota canal on a boat in Sweden, it's like going down a staircase? What an interesting boat ride this would be. Looks very orderly right? Definitely adding a list to explore Northern Europe next time I visit
Walking through the heart of Sweden on Göta Canal..
If you want to see Sweden play, go directly to Gota canal. This miracle of 19th century engineering spreads from Sjötorp on Lake Vänern to 190 km (118 miles) to the Baltic Sea of Mem, and is a crowded puller by boats.
Whether you're riding there or riding along the side, you can't stop seeing the great views of it. There are fifty-eight locks, some of them have risen to incredibly 90 metres (295 ft) from sea level, carrying vessels through an impressive natural lake chain, making it the most attractive waterways anywhere on the planet.
Göta Calal spreads 190 km (118 miles) from Sjötorp to the Baltic Sea in Mem on Lake Vanern.
Through the heart of Sweden on Göta canal
Passing historic places, medieval churches, attractive cities and rich green forests, this canal takes you through the heart of Sweden. Many steam boaters do their trade on it and highly recommended for those who go this soft system of transport.
You can climb and descend on these boats, and with the support of a bike, you can explore the broader surroundings.
You can go there all year long, but it comes completely alive from June to September. The steam ship takes two to six days. Featured the beautiful Will pf Vättern and Vänern and Trollhätta Canal Museum. Don't miss the Läckö castle built as a bishop's residence in 1298. Its golden era was the rule of Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie in 1652 who transformed it into a Baroque fort.
