Introducing BlurtBooks – Blending Cryptocurrency with Authoring

It is with much excitement that we introduce BlurtBooks to the Blurt community. BlurtBooks has been conceived to be a means of bringing the writing/authoring community closer to the cryptoverse. With Blurt being a social blogging platform, it only makes perfect sense for us to launch on this ecosystem.

It is our goal to be the Amazon KDP of the cryptocurrency world in particular. As such, what we aim to build is a self publishing platform for authors and writers alike to publish their books and earn in cryptocurrency.

Categorically, the currencies to be used on the platform will be the Blurt token and the BlurtBooks Token. As such, part of our goals would be to create a DeX that allows readers and book lovers convert their other cryptocurrencies or fiat to Blurt or BlurtBooks token to be used in our bookstore.

Milestones Crushed

• Purchase of Domain & hosting service for the BlurtBooks website/bookstore.
• Setting up of countdown timer on the website to launch date.
• Building a continuously growing community of committed members.

Ongoing Events

With about 100 days to our launch, we have kicked off several role contests that are both exciting and innovative. We want to be able to appreciate the community that has helped us grow to where we currently are and as such 10 million BlurtBooks Token has been reserved to be airdropped to the community supporting us.

We truly hope to be the first and the leading crypto based publishing platform in the world, thus bridging the gap between publishing and cryptocurrency.

Conclusion

While we would have loved to start with a lengthier update, we have no plans to ramble aimlessly. As such, we will be bringing periodic updates as to our plans for the community we wish to serve.
