Commemoration on her coffin

She was diagnosed with leukemia and fought the good fight and was declared cancer free at the age of 17.
Unfortunately,
Her cancer returned three months later. After several more months of intensive care, she was discharged again on January 1. Hillier was scheduled to go to City of Hope Hospital in California for additional treatment on January 18, but was unable to make the trip due to medical complications. She died weeks later, and her funeral was held on January 30.
However, the story pays tribute to her when her beloved classmates decide to take her white mini-box and cover it entirely with multi-colored messages, out of respect for her ..she never got the chance to bring home the school's senior yearbook.
