Fees for Posting and Financial Transactions

Before I start let me tell you about the fees. Fees were introduced as a measure to stop spam and plag accounts, during the attack on Blurt last year. The fees were a way for the defense, but many witnesses don't know this.
So, I am writing this post to let all witnesses know about this.

The fees can be changed anytime by a witness and as per his decision, he can keep it higher, or keep it less.
Some users have the misconception that it can lead to the users leaving blurt, but no, because it can be controlled like, the tokens fees, controlled based on token price.

As this is already month end, this will be taken as discussion for June/July fees. I declare this account to use for monthly discussion for fees.

Let us all discuss this here and every month, we change the fees. This helps the community to know witnesses are active, plus we can make sure, fees are changed based on condition.

For this month we have issues

• Increasing fake accounts
• Increasing Plag posts
• people abuse with long comments

I don't say, a fee is a permanent solution to this, but a permanent solution for money, as you can only buy that much of what you have in your pocket.

Let them do the same with high fees, making their blurt spending faster, and benefit to us is more burn.

As more tokens burn, less supply, and more value for tokens.

If you see the current price of blurt, increased fees will still be lesser than what it was with lesser fees and a high token price.

So, this will also help pump blurt price.

Bandwidth Fee: 0.600 BLURT per kB
