I always loved a water view...at least in the summer. Winters can get a little uncomfortable with water around.

Yes, it is good to live near a place where you can swim in summer. Unfortunately, you cannot swim in this reservoir, but at the same time it is quiet and there are no strong winds, like near some other reservoirs.
