To New Beginnings

A new beginning

Not sure how active I will be on Blurt, I am still enjoying Hive at the moment. I feel there is room for more than one block chain social site for myself, however I am not sure how much time I will have. many people have a vast number of accounts for this or for that, such as FaceBook, twitter, Youtube, Medium, and a host of others.

I think I will stay with the block chain format for now until something else comes along that catches my fancy. I tried the above mentioned ones, and several others from geocities to angelfire way way back in the day. I tried lots of instant message system, from pow-wow, ICQ, and a host of others. None fit my life style very well.

I found with, first Steem, then Hive that the posting and commenting format were more of my speed, perhaps due to my beginning days on the internet first through bulletin board systems, then the early days of compuserve, genie and yes even AOL.

Welcome Blurt to the new world of the possibly new internet, and new independence from those that would like to control the message.

Image upload seemed to not work very well, so I understand why there are few images right now on the blurt pages.

Greetings @bashadow! This has the look of something they decided to launch before everything had been coded and tested... maybe they wanted to stick to the announced launch date.

Images are dodgy; can't seem to get to the wallet page... no idea of "resource credits" come into play here... I suppose patience is in order, for the time being.

It may be a tad bit rushed, but I still wanted to see it, and follow for awhile to see how it works out for them. I have a hard time keeping up on hive, and completely left steem because of time issues, and some direction issues also.

Just imagine one day the people that want to run a block chain may actually start with some decent tools before launch. Like the front end access point, unless of course all they want are crypto centric nerds and a few crypto centric developer nerds playing in the sand box they built.

I still have no clue what a cli-wallet is nor where to get one, nor how to even use one if I got one. But I will give the place a chance and a try-out. Who knows they may last longer than the twitter tryout I gave when it was first launched. That lasted a whole 6 days at most.

A long long time ago, in an internet far far away...It was fun for a little while, though they did not last long.
