I am not surprised , i was looking into it because many friends bought it and told me how amazing it is and i respected their view , even tried few glasses here and there , but no i just did not see the logic even though i can spend a lot of money on other useless stuff , at least it doesnt go in my body or in my cats body .
We all drink very clean fresh source water from a direct source anyway and we are happy .
Thanks for that great info ! I wont say anything i will just forward it :)

If you go to his channel he has a video about a few other filters that are scams. Your friends should be eligible for damages (who knows when and how much) from the class action.

Perfect ! Will forward ..thanks

I'm glad you posted this. My partner has been on me for us to get one for quite awhile. I looked into this more and found this.

It looks like they aren't the only ones who one need be wary about. It seems most of them add aluminum and other contaminants.

I found this site to research more as an alternative, but don't know enough yet to recommend it.

I would get a reverse osmosis filter for the home if you're on city water, and install a faucet for it. If you're looking for a die for the whole house: https://outdoors.stackexchange.com/questions/15590/how-do-slow-sand-filters-work-and-are-there-any-alternatives

Otherwise look into distillation.

My options are somewhat limited living in an apartment and cash flow. I was looking earlier today at reverse osmosis and saw this as one of the more affordable ones.

That seems like a scam.

They have the open box for $152, it comes with everything you need, including the faucet. I didn't look at the one you posted besides seeing it's 3stage and the price, it might not be a scam but if it's not it's definitely not what you need for an apartment.

I was thinking the one I shared might be easier to install as I can't be drilling a bunch of holes in the pipes and sink here. The one I shared is for an RV. I took a look at the one you shared and it looks pretty good.

I found this video and it gave me a rough idea on how to rig one up without having to drill a lot of holes.

In any event you can simply dangle the faucet on the inside of the kitchen sink cabinet, just be careful to have it shut, or close the valve on the tank. If anything else, you could put a hole next to the sink in the countertop and simply place a soap dispenser there when you move out.

You need a small hole for the drain which you can get another tailpipe for and a place to hook up the faucet. It comes with the 3/8 in tee adapter for the cold water hookup. You should get a container from walworld for the water to keep in the fridge.

And use it for cooking and drinking only, maybe washing off the vegetables and fruits.
