Many blogs usually just go into detail about how great a place is. I found that often misleading, fake, and boring.

I do agree with this. I've read so many travel blogs and yes, what it tackles mostly was how great the place is and not tackling about the other side of it. Travel blogs should talk about both the good and bad about the certain place they had visited to.
