what does it feel like to be a mule
What does it feel like to be ruled
Does it cause pain, leaving you ungrateful
Or does it cause extreme pain leaving you extremely ungrateful

What does it feel like to be a mule
What does it feel like to not own yours, nudge his arm playfully and whisper boy you're a fool
What does it feel like to be empty
From the tender and toodling year to your eighty's
With none to call yours, and brag about when he's in his teens

Does it feel like the environs after it rains
Empty, dry, like every one has left this space.
Or does it feel like a mourning house, groans is all you hear, and oh! the tears

What does it feel like to be like a mule
With no scar to remind you of your wound
To strive, to try but still be called a fool
Does it feel like a dead twig from the flower vase
Dry, lifeless and without care
Or does it feel like the dead, worthless and without zest.

What is it like to be a mule
What! What!! What!!!
A mule is a sterile donkey or horse
So in the above it represents unproductivity
It also depicts a barren woman..
That is childless till old age. How she may feel living her whole life like that.
