Dear Madu
When you wake up tomorrow morning
And move to awaken me with your whistle
Loud and clear as your laughter that follows it as usual
You'll meet a stack of clothes piled in a human form
But by then, I'll be 500 miles away from home
For I padded away under the watchful eyes of the moon
Taking away with me nothing else
But the sound of your laughter while playing 'tyre'
And the image of Mama wiping tears she hid with the end of her wrapper
Madu,
Mama calls me Agu nwoke
But what kind of lion sits with his tails in between his legs
And watches death play hide and seek with his mother on her sick bed makana ego adighi
Or watches his own look longingly at empty pots
Which tempts him to pick up the metal and drown in the White Demon
See, we might have been born into this Sahara
And had glimpses of what happiness looks like because of the love that binds us
But this is not home
My Daily affirmation by think and grow rich by Napoleon Hills
I'm certain with the grace of God, that by May next year, I'll be worth over $20,000 and accumulate over $1500 daily.
I keep thinking how to be rich, and Napoleon villes has really been my source of inspiration.
I'm willing to reaffirm my affirmation to keep it afresh in my heart, mind and soul.
To achieve this goal, I'm very ready to give my best in what whatever I'll be doing. I'll take my blog serious on blurt, making at least two post per day.
I'm currently learning data analytics, with these skills I'm hopeful to analyze business for top firms and get paid in the process.
I'm new to Blurt, and just discovered you poem. It is wonderful. May your aspirations be achieved.
Best wishes, AG
