A storm is heading in. This is monsoon season, and we are accustomed to a cloudy and wet Summer.
Our Summer is like your Winter. We stay inaide and watch the evening storms roll in. We keep out of the heat, and just chill.
A storm like this can drop the temperature outside by up to 20 degrees and bring rain and lightning. We get flash flood warnings on our phones, and the lightning and rain makes it an exciting time.
Never take Mother Nature for granted. People die every year from these storms. The best way to stay safe is to stay inside. My yard turns into a pond when this happens, and the hot rains bubble at the clay, making foam that looks very much like sea foam. A real thing to watch.
