What do you see with that tree? Best off topic answer wins a prize, a mystery prize, could be liquid blurt, could be a delegated amount of blurt for a month or two, who knows, I will make my mind up as and when.
Now speaking of delegating some blurt power, how do we do it on here @rycharde or @practicalthought? I keep meaning to delegate to new people but still do not know how on here?
I hit power down last night.
I am only powering down for 1 week or 23,000 ish blurt.
The reason why is a test use case study, I want to see how easy or hard it is to exchange that blurt for use to buy "things" any "things" I feel like buying.
Maybe I will fix a leaking roof with it, maybe I will buy a drone, go for a meal even, maybe I will invest it in other crypto after converting it to Fiat funny money, who knows, not I.
We are on a tight timeline.
Before governments roll out their digital track and trace tokens, so in the interests of bettering our future I am doing this experiment, in the hopes someone will take note and make it easier for anyone to spend their well earned Blurt or any other token, be it hive, be it POB, VYB, or like I said, any crypto.
It is the mindset with crypto social media that needs changing to get mass adoption, telling people to buy more tokens and power up is old news, rewarding them for doing so too is also old news, 6 years old.
But that is like saying work for me for ever and save your wages in my bank!
We have to give people a reason to be here, 1 of them is giving them an easy and direct way to cash out, not just cash in.
I could sit here on a trillion blurt if needed but if I never get to spend it what is the point?
So I clicked the power down last night after much thought, it was not a decision taken lightly, on a whim, nor was it a rage quit, quite the opposite.
I want to see all crypto websites do well, so the decision is for that purpose.
I am going to chart after 7 days, so next Monday - all my findings with the easiest way to cash out and spend 23,000 blurt, I may also give a purchase I make with it away, we will see.
But with it taking 7 days just to get that blurt this might turn into a 2 week challenge but I will only as stated be powering down 1 weeks worth, for now.
We all have unexpected costs at times in life, it would be nice if we could mitigate them by paying via the articles we have written. Nobody on here earns a fortune anyway, so it would be nice to give those that come here that genuinely need the money earned here, an easy way to cash out, and fast.
My Audi developed a bad coil pack and ate some spark plugs, it may be my over tuning but I am not finished with that yet, 75 bhp more to gain, I like fast, and that has cost me £80 in a coil pack and spark plugs, so maybe I will spend some blurt to cover that, you see, something positive.
There are no two ways about it, I have been saying this for 6 years, we (for mass adoption) need an easy route to buy in, and easy way to cash out, if me doing this helps to get there, then so be it, I care not what I lose in vote value from my own upvotes, that is not the point of this.

Together we can make this site and others more accessible, more user friendly, give it or them a reason for existing, not just as a storage of vote power or wealth, a true purpose. If we all want this to moon, to succeed it needs a purpose, not just be like a broach or a necklace, a real first use reason, a purpose at that.
It is fine making a site with tokens, github has all the code, it is another all together with regards to making it user friendly to the easiest degree for people to buy in and cash out, nobody seems to want to take on said responsibility, but someone is going to have tooooooooooo and he/she - it that does first, will be the ultimate winner.
So get your cash out - first use stories on, let the world know how you do it, blurt it, tweet it, let the world know we are a tech leader, not a coach slouch.

The way I just spent some crypto for the first time, I found a website called Bitrefill you can purchase various types of gift cards from them with some different cryptos they accept. Using ionomy I had transferred some Hive to then bought Bitcoin with the Hive. Then traded the Bitcoin for Dash I purchased a couple E-gift cards for major stores in Australia to try out. And fortunately both gift cards worked and I purchased products I wanted😄and they cover most countries. Don't even need to KYC with them either 👍
That's my quick rundown on my first experience spending some of my crypto.
Gift cards are a rip-off, you can never spend it all so they always keep the left-overs. It's a racket.
Most gift cards in Australia have no expiry date and can be used multiple times until you spend every cent it had in value. I always get the whole dollar value out of gift cards.
Good for you, rinse em good. I rarely buy anything new especially from corporation brands so not much good to me.
Unsure if they do them there but a wirex card would if you can get one cut the middle part out, you send BTC and other cyptos to it, convert them to Fiat and then spend them in shops or take it out via any ATM.

To delegate just go to your wallet and push the arrow next to your bp. You will then see delegate there, you then fill in the blanks of the pop up window and it is that simple.

I cashed out some of my hive and bought some books which I posted about months ago. I haven't thought of cashing out any blurt yet tho, I want to get to a comfortable number where I can use my liquid blurt for cashing out use some time in the future. Just seen a panicky blurt by blurtbot today as well saying the crash might have started. If that's the case we have no idea which way this will go when the fiat system does crash (and it will). It's being 'managed' right now and TPTB are making sure they do not lose out but we might, I don't know.

" The easiest way I have found so far is send it to ionomy, exchange for BTC, then send to wirex card, the card is free and costs £1 a month to maintain, when it is in the wirex online account, you can convert it to Fiat and spend it as the card is like a visa card, or withdraw from any ATM.

I'm not sure on how one delegates. Nor convert into fiat. I saw you recommend wirex and I will investigate that more. I've been reluctant to convert in the traditional exchange way here in the U.S. as they somehow are able ot escape punishment for years in allowing deposits and then not allowing withdrawels pretending there are KYC issues indefinitely.

When Blurt is almost 3 cents and other cyptos are going down it looks like a good time to take some out and fix the roof or whatever you like. The process to delegate is simple. Just open the wallet and delegate. I thought about delegating to upvu but changed my mind. I like having some Blurt power to vote posts.

I opened an alt account in the past to hold little contests for awarding delegations. It got to be too much work for me. I think delegations are most useful to people just starting out. It's your BP and if you think something is worthy of a delegation then make a post. Someone may just match your delegation.
