Or a winking one ?

WOOPS .... maybe not a winking one ....

Western culture winks require more context than in other cultures, because they can mean anything from flirtation or encouragement to mockery or malice. For instance, after the Civil War, cadets at West Point Military Academy used winking to help each other cheat on tests. These days, winking is used in American sports to communicate specific instructions to teammates.

Latin America — Keeping things simple (and steamy), winking is used exclusively to communicate romantic or sexual interest.

West Africa — In Nigeria, it is a sign of disrespect for a child to be in the same room as a guest, so parents will wink at the child to dismiss them from the room when visitors are present.

India — There’s a fine line for winking in Indian culture. It’s seen as a sly or flirtatious act when done between husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend, but as inappropriate or insulting if done to someone you’re not in a relationship with.

Australia — Taking a sharp turn in meaning, winking in Australian culture is considered rude and too suggestive, especially when done by a man to a woman.

Asia — Winking is considered a vulgar gesture in Asian cultures so unless you’re looking for a fight, keep your winks to yourself.

Thank you for this friendly excursion to the field of Ethnology. Now my mind is friendly cleaned up and I see the Blurt logo not longer as angry face. This face is more a tribute to all our asian friends active on blockchain. From now on the Blurt face for me is the typical face of asian people, when they are fully concentrated working in a very official and very important matter. Haiiiiiiii chack!

Dear @offgridlife,
You only managed to do that by expanding the conditions.

  ·  4 years ago  ·   (edited)

LOL, the face is friendly now but the color still looks angry.

Yes I know. High blood pressure is not something you can heal by simple gimp cosmetics.

I am the blogger who said that the current Blurt logo doesn't look friendly and hoped that someone would create a cooler version of Blurt!

I am happy that you thought about it and tried to make it friendly. I like your version too and thank you so much for creating it. I'm downloading it and let's keep trying to find much more cooler version aswell.

Thank you!

Nice Blurt face with a feminin touch. The eyebrows are very well cared for. Thanks for your contribution.

I've heard the government is thinking about a more friendly logo. They want to take a B now. Maybe because a B has no whims and cannot be unfriendly.

We all thougt how unfriendly the logo is. But I stopped thinking about. I didn't care until I've read from an other blogger that logo is still unfriendly. Then I started to play with the given elements, just by a mood. But it's useless. Of course you can show the face in a million friendly designs and you can design ten million other and one million better logos. But It makes no sense because nobody is asked to do that. I did it just for fun.

Thank you @afrog for initiating this conversation and openly discuss opportunities to improve our community. Excellent work mate.

By the way, I also encourage you and your followers to exercise their rights to vote for Witnesses to help secure, improve infrastructure and promote our community.
Here's where to vote: https://blurtwallet.com/~witnesses

NOTE: You can update your votes (add or remove) anytime you like.

Everyone is a stakeholders of blurt blockchain. If you care, you must VOTE.

Cheers to all my friends.

Thank you for reading and commenting my writings @yehey. Of course we experienced bloggers all know how important independend witnesses are. We all come from a blockchain, where witnesses have been moretheless sock puppets, investors and shylocks than witnesses. They all follow their own business and have nothing to do with community thoughts. Now these people are running Hive and are far away from me. Luckily.

We all hope, that it is going much more better on Blurt. But Blurt witnesses should know, how important it is, to talk with the bloggers they expect to be voted. A lot of them have not posted at all, or are guiding the interested people to sites have nothing to do with their witness job or make just non-binding statements that are not worth reading. At least one posting per month for the bloggers would be appreciated. That is not asking too much. And, as you already know, we have much too less independent witnesses at all.

That's all reasons why I still have votes left that I couldn't give. But you are my elected witness now. Because now I know you are a busy developer.

Dein ganzer Artikel würde gut dort hin passen. In Englisch halt.
