A sure sign they are unable to articulate their beliefs - yet again, we forever circle around the belief in believing as having any more validity than believing in the spaghetti monster or that our twin planet is a teapot.
However, one can use the same tech to expand freedom, but it needs to be thought of in the same way as securing a castle. Not so easy - you don't wanna see the infested zombies catapulted in.
I gave the link you shared a brief glance and saved for later perusal. I was unaware that a form of biological warfare was used back that far and now am intrigued with knowing more.
I view history (despite its skew towards the victors view) as a recording mostly of aggressors figuring out how to plunder others. It seems that the evidence is in that wherever there is a resource of value, those who would plunder it from those who produce/possess it will always materialize. Like some magnetic field of attraction.
Appreciate the link. Studying past actions and by extension motivations has been a passion of mine, on and off, for decades now.
In around 2000, two very similar series appeared on TV: A History of the World by BBC, and The Story of Mankind (USA). Their differences are illuminating.
Andrew Marr ends his series with, “We humans have been brilliantly clever... almost as clever as we think we are, though not, perhaps, as wise.”
A downer that would never appear in the other series.
“Man is simply man, and there’s nothing that can be done with him. There is no evolution. There is one very simple law, the law of the conservation of violence. It’s as simple as the law of the conservation of energy. Violence is eternal, no matter what is done to destroy it. It does not disappear or diminish; it can only change shape.”
In contrast, the Mankind series seemed to relish that perpetual war was somehow the only driving force of intelligence.
IMO wisdom without the power to use it is a pacifist route to extinction - extinction of a certain type of human... as we are currently witnessing. Transubhumanism is an extinction process.
I arrived at a similar conclusion years ago. I remember encountering groups when I first joined the internet via aol. They called themselves light workers. I appreciated them so much, yet couldn't join in with them despite my heart yearning for what they desired. Some of them were so misguided about the reality of the world, thinking one could just wish the violence and those willing to use it for horrible reasons away.
I appreciated them so much I would protect many of them if the need came, because sadly most of them are sitting ducks by refusing to understand one can only control oneself. The law of attraction isn't some shield that keeps one safe from the intent of others.
I was always a fan of the Billy Jack movies, since watching them as a child. This was always one of the scenes that gripped me as a child as I battled reconciling my desire for a world of light to the real world of violence I was experiencing.
Never watched that - maybe the Kung Fu series had a similar effect on me as a kid.
I also have a similar feeling towards the "lightworkers" - it's like they're only working on one or two chakras instead of the full V8 ;-)Perhaps why I maintain that the heart should not be opened first as one can get stuck in that field - and it just isn't the only field.
