You see four years ago, I spent 6 hours on this sketch. I wanted to get the right tones and edges and even now when I look at it I think there's something I should add. I guess I've always been this way. That's why whenever I say I'm done with a sketch I don't go back to it - it's the perfectionist my dad created in me that's causing this heartache.
I shared part of this sketch first when I first drew it. I decided to make a sketch of Darth Maul because of the drama behind his character and face. Even though most people don't consider the first 3 episodes of the Star Wars to be binding or interesting I must say that in some ways it sheds more light for rookies on certain unclear areas. The one thing I always found fascinating about this character was his two edge light saber...
