The bass is an indispensable instrument for any group or orchestra, also inside my blog is always dedicated to know this instrument with post to know the greatest bass players and covers of many songs on bass; but in this first semester we open a segment (which already has some advanced posts) to talk about the rockstar of the group, "The Guitarists" who are always, after the vocalist, the most known and followed by the public. That's why this segment will always be dedicated to the guitarists. The sound of this guitarist is particular, not only for his great skills, but for his ability to make sounds that no other guitarist has dared, "Tom Morello" is an innovator, a true genius of the guitar. In addition to being a musician, he is a Harvard graduate in political science, one of the guitarists considered by "Rolling Stones" magazine as one of the greatest modern guitarists, ranked number 26.

El bajo es un instrumento indispensable para cualquier grupo u orquesta, además dentro de mi blog está siempre dedicado a conocer este instrumento con post para conocer a los más grandes bajistas y covers de muchas canciones en el bajo; pero en este primer semestre se abre un segmento (que ya tiene algunos post adelantados) para hablar del rockstar del grupo, “Los Guitarristas” que siempre son, después del vocalista, los más conocidos y seguidos por el público. Es por esto que este segmento estará siempre dedicado a los guitarristas. El sonido de este guitarrista es particular, no solo por sus grandes habilidades, sino por su capacidad para hacer sonidos que ningún otro guitarrista se ha atrevido, “Tom Morello” es un innovador, un verdadero genio de la guitarra. Además de músico es graduado de Harvard en ciencias políticas, uno de los guitarristas considerados por la revista “Rolling Stones” como uno de los más grandes guitarristas modernos, colocado en el puesto número 26.
MUSICAL HISTORY
"Tom Morello is an American guitarist, born in Harlem, New York, in 1964. Since he was a child he was a very diligent and disciplined student, in his adolescence, as in most of the great guitarists, was when his love for the guitar began to be one of his greatest passions, where despite having other areas in which to set their priorities, the guitar was a fundamental part of his career. Morello, thanks to his dedication, practiced up to eight hours a day the guitar, took lessons with the master Joe Satriani, with whom he learned many of the skills known of him, also always received motivational support from his friend "Adam Jones" who also practiced the guitar with him and later became the bassist of "Tool". Tom formed several bands where "Electric Sheep" stands out as one of the bands he formed at the beginning of his career, but in the future he would form the band that would be his biggest and best success and with which he would achieve worldwide fame "Rage Against The Machine". Morello, meets the vocalist of the separate band "Lock Up" Zack de la Rocha, with whom he counts to be the main vocalist of RATM. In 1991 they made what would be their first presentation as a band and since then they remain active despite continuing with other projects; they had a period of musical pause and it is here where Tom is part of the band "Audioslave" with the late singer "Chris Cornell". Currently the chemistry between the members of RATM, without Zack or Chris, is so powerful that they created "Prophets of Rage" where they invite other famous singers for their live performances. Tom Morello graduated with Honors from Harvard University with a degree in Political Science.

Desde pequeño fue un alumno muy aplicado y disciplinado, en su adolescencia, como en la mayoría de los grandes guitarristas, fue cuando su amor por la guitarra empieza a ser una de sus mayores pasiones, donde a pesar de tener otras áreas en donde fijar sus prioridades, la guitarra formó parte fundamental de su carrera. Morello, gracias a su dedicación, practicaba hasta ocho horas al día la guitarra, tomó clases con el maestro Joe Satriani, con quien aprendió muchas de las habilidades conocidas de él, además siempre recibió apoyo motivacional de su amigo “Adam Jones” quien también practicaba la guitarra con él y que luego se convirtió en el bajista de “Tool”. Tom formó varias bandas donde destaca “Electric Sheep” que fue una de las que formó al inicio de su carrera, pero en el futuro formaría la banda que seia su mayor y mejor éxito y con la cual conseguiría la fama mundial “Rage Against The Machine”. Morello, conoce al vocalista de la separada banda “Lock Up” Zack de la Rocha, con quien cuenta para ser el vocalista principal de los RATM. En 1991 realizan lo que sería su primera presentación como banda y desde entonces se mantienen activos a pesar de seguir con otros proyectos; ellos tuvieron una época de pausa musical y es acá donde Tom forma parte de la banda “Audioslave” con el cantante ya fallecido “Chris Cornell”. Actualmente la química que poseen los integrantes de RATM, sin Zack o Chris, es tan poderosa que crearon solo ellos a “Prophets of Rage” donde invitan otros cantantes famosos para sus presentaciones en vivo. Tom Morello se graduó con Honores de la universidad de Harvard en Ciencias Políticas.
Techniques used by Tom Morello.
In terms of techniques, Tom has a very particular way of playing his guitar and is known for using synthesizers and mixing effects to obtain sounds that are very characteristic of him. Watching lessons with Joe Satriani, gave him an unmatched skill in terms of playing and most of all a superb ability to create guitar solos.
