Hello friends,
There are various cultivars, species, and hybrids that belong to the Geranium genus that are together referred to as cranesbill geraniums. Hardy geraniums are flowering perennials that are a part of the Geranium family.
These are not to be confused with zonal geraniums; rather, they are low-growing, dense, carpet-like plants that are often planted.
In addition to floating on top of the plant, the flower stalks of these perennials poke and weave their way through the plants that are situated nearby.
Butterfly and bee populations are attracted to the cupped-shaped flowers that are one inch diameter and come in a variety of colors, including white, blue, pink, magenta, purple, lavender, and blue.
