Hello friends,
There is no such thing as catching nostalgia, but I can't think of a better word to describe how it makes me feel than "caught" or "swept away."
When first studied, nostalgia was thought to have negative affects, and for a long time, nostalgia and sadness were linked.
People who "caught" regret were usually having a bad time in their lives, and thinking about the past made them feel even worse.
Most of the time, immigrants were influenced by nostalgia. When they couldn't find what they were looking for, immigrants who had left their homes to start a new life felt homesick.
What are your top picks for films or books that we could use in a social experiment?
There's no doubt that at least one of your answers will be about your childhood. The work itself, which is about your childhood, is beautiful and well-made, so I don't see any problem with that.
When we're nostalgic, though, we don't mean to, but we do wear rose-colored glasses.
We're more likely to talk about how exciting the first adventure book we read was than the book itself when we tell someone about it.
Just like I said above, Harry Potter was one of those books for me. That is without a doubt not the best book series ever, but tell ten-year-old Aslı that.
Unfortunately, we now understand that nostalgia doesn't just make us sad. Some people feel nostalgic when they hear a tune or smell something from the past.
It can be sad and important at the same time to remember a happy time in your life.
Our parents sometimes lament, "Where are those old vacations?" but on the other hand, they are glad to remember the good times they had as kids.
Or, the kids who were excited about the new Harry Potter book yesterday still get upset when Hedwig's Theme plays. I included myself in that group of kids.
In short, geeks, some works will always be important. They smell good, and the topics they write about are either very general and understood all over the world, or very specific and easy to internalise.
We also find some works when we're in the right place and at the right time. We feel something for them. This is how they keep their stability with us.
Thank you for visiting my blog.👼🏻💖🌹🌺
