Rogač beach on the island of Solta in Croatia. A much less visited spot by tourists which, feels like you’re walking into a small local settlement where everyone knows one another.
A lot of people asked me if I was lost etc or ok when I was walking around exploring!
It’s history dates way back to ancient times, when it was built as a port for the island's most important settlement, Grohote. It is still where the ferry port docks to today and you alight to the island.
I walked 25 km up some super steep hills in very hot weather and felt very sweaty this day! There is a bus service but it appears on random streets and was too hard to track and get my head around on a few hours so I ended up walking everywhere!
