This is soooooo cool. The bioluminescent flower parlour in Canary Wharf, which is the worlds first bioluminescent flower shop. The flowers drink a bio luminescent fluid, made by a French company the full recipe is a secret! Although from research it seems like bioluminescent flowers often use the gene from a firefly.
The company aims to one day use the technology to light up the cities at night.
It also includes a mini photographic exhibition featuring Maggie West’s acclaimed ‘Ultraviolet’ series, which uses ultraviolet light and fluorescent ink to illuminate the process in which plants absorb water.
They give you a little uv torch on entry. It’s totally free to visit ! It’s on the -1 floor in Jubilee Place near to Reiss
