Hi Blurt Garden Lovers!
My Moringa tree, which I thought was a goner, has made an astonishing comeback, prompting me to give it a VIP seat in its own pot. This past week has been a very good one fresh shoots growing left and right. It is obviously enjoying all the sunshine! Fingers crossed, it'll brave the cooler days and wet weather too.
It was only after planting my moringa that I found out about all the amazing benefits. Sure, you can snag the powdered version from health shops, but nothing beats having your own stash of fresh leaves, ready to be savored raw or cooked.
My heirloom chillies are doing great and producing a bumper harvest - and wow - they are hot!! I have not grown this variety before and they are quite strange - they ripen from the base downwards and at this stage they look like two tone chillies - half red and half green. Eventually, the entire chilli becomes red and is ready to harvest. Each chilli is high in vitamin C and as such is very good for you - but be warned, they are really hot.
That's all from me today, Happy growing! 🌿🌶️
