The beauty of God's creation inspires us to create! What could be better than the colors God created? Today I captured with my camera the beauty of a clear sky - God expressed it with noble and delicate shades of blue and blue. Contemplating the soft colors of this gradient immerses me in God's presence, which is calming as well as blessing with clarity and wisdom.
I decided to keep this palette and use it for a new pattern. Apparently these colors are so light that I wanted to draw a small and graceful bird that lives in the sky and seems so light!
This drawing also reminds me of God's care:
Are not two small birds sold for an assarius? And not one of them shall fall to the earth without the will of your Father; but even the hairs of your head are all numbered; fear not: ye are better than many small birds. Matthew 10:29-31
