When I think of all the works God has done in my personal life, my heart is filled with awe and I can't stop marveling at how He has everything worked out down to the smallest detail. Even without my prayers, God notices how my heartbeat changes, what I am anxious about or what I desire, He knows everything about me, and that is so comforting. Thank God that I can come to Him and enjoy Him even without words, feel the touch of His Fatherly hand on my soul, and be comforted because everything will be okay. Jesus is near! He is closer than I can imagine, and He is so Real...
In this painting I tried to convey the state of my soul when it comes into contact with God, and I called it "The Stream of God is full of water".
The place God has brought me to is realizing the futility of self-righteousness and submitting to the guidance of the righteousness of Jesus Christ in me, which is completely independent of how many times a day I pray, how many chapters of the Bible I read, and whether I was gracious and joyful today. This is what King David said to God about himself, "The works of iniquity overcome me, You will cleanse our offenses." and that's what I can say about myself, but I also trust in the redeeming power of the Blood of Jesus Christ, Who is the hope of all the ends of the earth and those in the sea far away.
God has stirred up this morning to His glory and in the same way He has stirred up this night to glory! So let Jesus Christ also be glorified in your life as the One Who visits you in your helplessness, and quenches the thirst of your land and enriches it abundantly. Enter into the stream of God, it is full of water and let an abundance of bread be in your house. Jesus Christ is powerful to water the furrows of the earth, to level its clumps, to soften it with raindrops, to bless it with sprouts, to crown the summer of goodness, and to exude oil in the paths of deserted pastures. May your hills be overflowing with joy and your meadows clothed with flocks, your valleys covered with bread, shouting and singing!
I see God doing this in my life and I know for a fact that there is no credit to me, but it is all the GOODNESS of GOD, it is JESUS CHRIST the LORD! YES AND AMEN!
