How wonderful it is to be able to enjoy the beauty of the world around us, which was created by God with great love and care for man! The sun rose today on both the wicked and the good, because God's mercy and patience with us is so great. When I look at the sun, it reminds me of Jesus Christ, who, being both God and Man, suffered for our sins and died, and rose from the dead on the third day!
And now, with this hope, I will put myself in God's hands to live each new day according to His perfect plan. I make a lot of mistakes, and my biggest mistake was that I tried to achieve righteousness by my own efforts. But God constantly teaches me and reveals these mistakes so that my spirit can be built on the rock, which is Jesus Christ. It is only through His righteousness that I have been able to receive true freedom and happiness, which does not depend on my abilities.
Today, the Lord encouraged me through the sermon of the Apostle Paul to the Romans. I really liked it when he said that in the body of Christ we died to sin and now belong to the One who was raised from the dead to bear fruit for God. How comforting it is for me to know that God has walked through the valley of the shadow of death, as it says in Psalm 22 of David, so that I can now graze in His green pastures by the still waters and eat from the King's table in the face of all enemies! Blessed be our God and Father in Heaven, in Whom I have such a great treasure!
Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law in the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to Him Who rose from the dead, so that we might bear fruit to God. Romans 7:4
You set a table before me in the sight of my enemies. You have anointed my head with oil; you fill my cup to overflowing. So goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. I will dwell in the house of the Lord for many days. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff will comfort me. He upholds my soul and leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. David's Psalm. The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not lack. In green meadows he lets me rest, by still waters he cares for me. Psalms 23:1-6
Now Jesus Christ is the Light of my life and even if the sun does not give its light, I know for sure that Jesus Christ will never stop shining and everyone who puts his trust in him will not be put to shame! Perhaps these thoughts will be a comfort to someone today, be blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ in every good work to His glory, Amen!
