Thanks be to God for a new day and for fresh inspiration!
Today the Holy Spirit greatly encouraged through the testimonies of people who have come to real faith and new birth through God's grace to them and the great love revealed in Jesus Christ. I heard three testimonies of different people.
One of them came to God through the testimony of a college classmate. The classmate spoke about Jesus Christ and led a Bible study group right in the dormitory. Many students went there for support and prayer, and many of those who came found salvation. The man I am talking about faced strong opposition from parents who did not want their son to be a follower of Jesus Christ. However, he remained on the path of faith and now serves God, and God also had mercy and saved his parents.
Another had been on the hard road of a series of imprisonments since his youth because of a wrong way of life. He never thought he would dedicate his life to the Lord. In prison he read many different books, and one day he read that every self-respecting man should read 10 of these books:... There was a list of world literature and last on the list was the Bible. He thought that he could easily read this book like all the others and understand everything, but the first time he did not understand anything. This angered him, because even grandmothers understand what is said in the Word of God. And so, reading the second time, he did not notice how he was on his knees and prayed the prayer of repentance with tears in his eyes. This man was saved and delivered and completely restored through the power of Jesus Christ.
The third was the son of a minister of God, but because of the bad company he met in the hostel, he became addicted to this world and fell into addictions from which he could not free himself, and even the doctors could not help him. But God determined him to be a son of God, and through His mercy and the unceasing prayers of his father and mother, after ten years of apostasy, he was healed spiritually, mentally, and also bodily during the Sunday service. God gave him peace and a strong sense of God's presence that day. He felt the Lord begin to fill his being. This man was freed from his addictions instantly, it was a supernatural deliverance. “The grace of God came into their home” - these were the words God gave to the mother of this man at the moment of his healing.
Thank God for this encouragement! I believe these words will be an encouragement to some. WITH GOD!
