🥰 Shalom everyone in Blurt!
I greet you on the Sabbath day and am glad to be able to share my work with you again!
I am infinitely grateful to God for His powerful, unchanging Word. When I hold a book of the Bible in my hands, I feel the presence of Christ in a special way. Each word is full of life and love, it comforts me in difficult times, strengthens my faith, and helps me to look at this world with its many problems in a Godly way. When I read the Bible, I communicate with the Lord, I try to listen carefully to what He wants to say to me. This is the theme of my new poem. I hope that for someone it will become an inspiration to dive into the boundless depths of God's wisdom.
I wrote this poem in Ukrainian, but for convenience, I have shortened the translation into English. Unfortunately, the rhyme is not well preserved, but I hope you can understand the meaning of the poem.
SPRINGS OF LIVING WATER
I will immerse myself in God's Word,
The fountain of living water.
This is the firm foundation of my life,
That will never let me falter!
A new light will shine on the road,
That never goes out, day or night.
Under the reliable shelter of the Lord
I will follow Him only!
I will immerse myself in the Word of God,
I find peace for my soul in Him,
All my sorrows and anxieties disappear in a moment.
His Word is a strong shield,
That will warm you in the bitter cold,
It protects me from enemy arrows!
God's Word invigorates me,
I live and am comforted by it!
JESUS LORD! YES AND AMEN!
