He is the Son of God, in whom the Father's favor is well pleased - my illustration

Shalom to all at BLURT!

I thank God for new inspiration in the new day and of course for God's great mercy to us! I am comforted again and again by the Gospel, in which as it is written the power of God was made manifest in weakness, and no one could prevent it and no one could take it away.

The whole earthly journey of Jesus Christ under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, from the moment of His conception to His death on the cross, was not like what we are accustomed to call a successful and outstanding life. And this is what my heart once longed for..... But now God is focusing my attention on what is really important in this life - to see God and to desire only Him, because He is my fullness, He is everything for me, and I can do nothing without Him.

Jesus Christ showed me through water baptism how I must immerse myself in Him and how much the Father favors this. In this state of mind, the heavens are opened above me and the Holy Spirit becomes visible to my eyes and audible to my ears. And of course God wants me to obey Him as Jesus did, but I know that without His help I can do no good.

This time I illustrated the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist - "He is the Son of God, in Whom the Father's favor is well pleased."

Be blessed and may the Holy Spirit open your eyes to see and your ears to hear. Amen.
