Hi everyone! My first blog post - I want to introduce myself.

My name is Rikarivka, I am very glad that I was able to join this wonderful blog, in which creative and sociable people from all over the world intersect, exchanging their experience, impressions, achievements and, of course, their creativity, give a smile and support to each other.

Before I start blogging, I want to introduce myself and share my dreams and aspirations. Since childhood, to the question “what do you dream of becoming”, I answered everyone that I want to become an artist, I had no other idea about my future and I was completely sure of that. All my drawings, as well as the drawings of my sister and brother, were carefully preserved by my mother, and how fun it is now to look at these children's works. I think in the near future I will share some of them with you, we will have fun together. In pursuit of my dream, I was persistent, but I never could bring myself to draw anything when I didn't have inspiration, so I learned to draw on my own.

In the same way, I learned to play the guitar, my dad and brother helped me a lot in this. It turns out that you can be able to play an instrument without knowledge of musical notation, and that's fine. I also love to sing, I am especially inspired by the songs that my brother writes and sings, as well as songs in Hebrew. For me, Hebrew is a special language that my Lord spoke when He walked the earth, and although physically I am not an Israeli citizen, but in the spiritual world I am Israel, the heir of Abraham by faith in Jesus Christ.

I purposefully focus my creativity on God to glorify Him alone. I am very inspired when I remember the well-known composer Bach, who wrote “Soli Deo gloria” at the end of each of his works. All glory to God, now this is my motto in life. God inspired me to write many poems, although I write them in Ukrainian and Russian, sometimes I translate them into English.

In addition to drawing, music and poetry, I like to sew toys, accessories and make various crafts. My mother dreams of having a sideboard in our house, in which all the works of all her children, including mine, will be collected. I photographed the process of creating some of them, so I think it will be interesting to share with you mini lessons on creating toys and pencil cases in my publications.

I will be very glad if my publications will be useful for someone, and even if my creativity can be realized. The Bible says that we should cast bread on the waters, so I will be diligent in doing everything in my power and sharing it with people in order to help the poor, the widow and the orphan in their sorrows, and bring the good news to people!
