Las empresas que se dedican a esto lo usan para experimentación y estudios de mercado, sin embargo, muchas veces (si no es siempre) esta gratuidad es un método que sirve para probar el producto y, de acuerdo a las expectativas de los usuarios, ellos compren el paquete que más se ajuste a sus requerimientos porque así funciona el sistema de negocio de quienes invirtieron y decidieron sacarlo a la luz, así este sea justo o injusto, así este contenga anuncie un costo demasiado alto y sientes que están abusando de las necesidades del público al punto de exprimirle hasta el último céntimo de los bolsillos.

Existen complicaciones en el trayecto porque hay personas que no se conforman con estas pruebas gratuitas (sea por la poca cantidad de imágenes que brindan los servidores, las marcas de agua incluidas, o escasos segundos de video), sino que quieren obtener todos los beneficios de un premium sin pagar ni un solo centavo (dispongan o no de los recursos económicos suficientes para empezar sus proyectos con la ayuda de la IA).

No sabemos medirnos. No sabemos cuidar lo que se nos entrega y, aunque nos cueste en múltiples ocasiones reconocerlo, en un sinnúmero de áreas de la vida lo queremos todo gratis y para siempre sin importar el esfuerzo, el trabajo, la logística que está detrás de un programa, de un servidor, de un libro, de una canción, etc.

Podemos saber (básicamente en teoría) que las cosas más valiosas en la vida son aquellas que no tienen precio, que el amor genuino, la amistad sincera, los momentos de paz, y el simple hecho de respirar son regalos que no se pueden comprar, y muchas veces pasan desapercibidos en medio del bullicio de lo cotidiano.

Valorar lo gratuito es un ejercicio de, cabe la redundancia, gratitud, de estar presente y ser conscientes de lo que ya tenemos más allá de lo que queremos alcanzar. Es aprender a disfrutar del momento, de lo simple y las situaciones diarias para reconocer que no todo lo que importa en el mundo puede ser adquirido a través del poder adquisitivo, sino que para que surta efecto debe, tiene que ser sentido y experimentado.
Valuing what is free is an exercise in gratitude, of being present and aware of what we already have beyond what we want to achieve. It is learning to enjoy the moment, the simple things and everyday situations to recognize that not everything that matters in the world can be acquired through purchasing power, but that for it to have an effect it must be felt and experienced.
