If you didn't know already, today is election day in the United States of America. It's a hotly contested race, and thank God it's coming to an end.
Trump and Kamala are squaring off, and people are on edge here. There is concern about civil unrest, and some states have preemptively deployed the national guard to assist with any potential problems.
Make sure you exercise your civic duty and get out there to vote. Be peaceful and don't make your entire identity the person who is in the White House. It's much bigger than that. We need to be united and we need to use our minds and words to keep this great nation going. No need for any violence or any infighting. It is what it is. I have my preferred candidate and I'm voting today after work to do my part.
Keep the peace and exercise your rights that many died to establish and to preserve. Whoever makes it to the White House will have huge shoes to fill. Be peaceful and careful when you're out there. The United States is a representative democracy, and the Electoral College plays a huge role so the most popular candidate may not win.
God bless America.
