My Holiday planning ways

Good day to you all beautiful people. Today I will like to share something about my travel experiences. As you all know that I am very fond of travelling and with God's grace I have had the opportunity to travel in many parts of the world across the continents. In my very younger days I would pick up destinations which were very commercial and were visited by masses, but with time I was not enjoying that much and then I started picking up destinations which were less explored by the masses and had lots to offer. Also my preferences changed in terms of what I want to see in the place. I enjoy visiting historic places and places which have nature in abundance and for that reason Switzerland has always been my most favorite destination, not the city parts but the interiors.

Travel experiences have changed so much for me in the last 1 decade, before when I used to plan a holiday I had to start planning for it months in advance because my way of planning a holiday is doing all by myself. I do all the hotel bookings and travel arrangements myself so it takes time for me. Even the itinerary I explore the map of the place do research on every part of it and then set the itinerary. I would never go to a agent for my holiday planning, because they would always be expensive and in my earlier years I always had budgeted holidays, where we would stay in a youth hostel and take the public transport, food also used to be on the most economical side. My aim was always to see the place more then enjoying these luxuries.

But now things have changed. It is much easier to book hotels on different booking portals where you get range of hotels as per your budget. There are times now where I reach out to agent for certain bookings. Like my travel to Egypt and Iran were completely managed by a travel agent, because I found it difficult doing it myself due to all the barriers like language and easy transport accessibility.

Every travel experience for me is a memorable one and to cherish for lifetime. Ideally I like to visit the length and breadth of the place so I always keep a good number of days while planning a destination, and at the same time I would prefer to not extend beyond 2 weeks. My longest holiday so far was in U.S. which was for 5 weeks, we did almost a full circle of the place and it was so much worth it. By the end of it, it was exhausting but then never mind it's always once in a lifetime for such destinations.

Let me know, how do you plan your holidays, what is it that is the most important for you to consider while planning a holiday.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
