There are many views that explain what happiness is. But I would argue that happiness is the simple things that make us smile and say things like "my life is beautiful".

The meaning of happiness if we go deeper actually refers to our gratitude for all the blessings we can feel. It's just that we often forget about it and tend to always look up without seeing the fact that there are actually many conveniences that we have enjoyed.

When we fail, of course we feel frustrated and probably no one is happy when they experience this. So, how can we be happy in such a position? I don't think so, but we can still let go of our failures and eventually happiness will replace those situations.

Being happy is everyone's right and being happy is everyone's choice. Not everything is possible for us to achieve but at least we can still be happy.

Is that happiness decision of each person?

As I explained in the previous paragraph, happiness is everyone's right and happiness is a choice.

For example, when we fail, be it in romance or anything else, we always have the opportunity to choose to drown in that failure or choose to let it go and turn it into a lesson. I think time goes on and our lives are too precious to be stuck in a cycle of sadness.

So determining our own happiness is our own responsibility. Our responsibility for our own mental health. And also responsibility for our own future.
