Cultivation Method: Loamy soil is best for cultivation of sorghum. But it also grows well in other fertile soils. October to November and March to May are the best times for sowing safflower seeds. An average temperature of 25-30 degrees Celsius and adequate sunlight is required. First, the soil should be cultivated well and made soft and smooth. The seeds should be sown at a depth of about 2.5 to 3 cm. The land should be prepared properly and organic fertilizers should be applied as per requirement. After 5 to 6 weeks of seedling emergence, harvesting can be started. Besides, regular watering and weeding is essential.
