Hi Blurtians, Freunde, 友達, amigos! I'm Jade, a teen artist from Germany new to Blurt!
Today I would like to share some photos of the beautiful things around me, it might seem quite random, but really what everyone chases in life is happiness, love and freedom. Plus, who knows if you'll be as happy as you think when you get there, when you can always smile on the path.

I'm not saying you won't, I encourage everyone to follow their dreams, but my point is that we can always CHOOSE if whether we want to be happy or sad today, or if we will take the opportunity that is literally right in front of us, to observe the beauty around and inside of you!

Today I'd like to share photography of the beauty around my beautiful home, in Acapulco, Mexico.

This is a watercolor painting I made for my moms' birthday this year. She loved it so much that we cut it out of my sketchbook and framed it so that it's always there on the shelf for everyone to see. Her favorite animal is the Elefant. :)

I made this just before Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead), which is a Mexican holiday more popular than Halloween here to honor dead ancestors, friends and/or loved ones with flowers, photos & candles and the things that they liked on their "ofrenda", which means "offering".

I thought this homemade flower wreath would go well with the nice holiday vibe. ❤️

Do you like fairies? Because I love them! This is a figurine that was on my... 8th?... birthday cake. Now, she always lays on my workspace to inspire me with beautiful thoughts.

There is even beauty to be found on the fridge! This is where we keep our souvenir magnet from places that we've been like Greece and Guatemala. I also crocheted the cherries not too long ago. It brings some poppy color to a grey fridge.

Do you see the little "message of encouragement" magnet I made for my mom? I made it just for fun since she is in the kitchen everyday to make lunch.
