To me, sketchbooks are a great place for experimentation, planting seeds for better ideas and working that creativity without fear of judgement! In this post, I'd like to show you some of my watercolor sketches that I think turned out pretty good, I hope you enjoy!

I don't think there really is a need for me to say who the singer above is, if you listen to 80's music. Can you guess?
For this painting, I used watercolor, white gouache for the sparkles on his jacket, a ballpoint pen and a white gel pen for outline around him for that pop effect.
Although, I'm very happy how I managed to capture the expression of rage on his face through the watercolor. What do you think?
I don't know why, but I just love those crisp edges I get from the watercolor sometimes, the ones you can see around the brushstrokes on the lady's shirt. It's just so satisfying haha.
This one has more of a cooler & calmer environment than the other ones probably because of the purple background. At the time I painted this, I had the feeling I wasn't confident enough in painting flowers so I did this as practice. Anyway, I like the ✨aesthetic✨ it got!
