Hello there, fellow Blurtians! Welcome back to my blog! Today I'd like to share with you some of my watercolor paintings fresh out of my sketchbook!

These are paintings that I made in my sketchbook in 2024, as a way of looking back at things I made when I was still 12 years old. I also like them because I made them when I was still using cheap watercolors (the type for little kids), showing how you can still use cheap things to be inspired and make decent things! :)

As You Wish

The paintings I'm showing in this post were all inspired by the things that I like. This one, was inspired by a movie that I watched from a very young age "The Princess Bride". This piece was from a scene when the princess bride was still living in the farm.

Red

For basically my entire life, I've been listening to Taylor Swift music. This one is inspired by one of her album covers for her album "Red".

Evermore

Not everyone has heard of this one, but if you are merely obssesed with Taylor Swift music like me 🤪, you've heard of her album "Evermore". When I painted it, I was very proud of how Taylor is sharp, and everything in the distance gets blurrier creating more of a sense of depth. I also put some work into the braid, but I think it was worth it.
