Hi Blurtians! Welcome back! Wow, who knew 2024 would go so fast and now it is already January 4th, haha. I'm just amazed at everything we've all accomplished so far as mankind, in 2025 years (unless you count the years before Jesus was officially born). We now have skyscrapers, hi-tech robots, even fireworks! We're basically master-brains by now and are still learning and creating! I'd just like to say that we deserve to be proud of our teamwork. 💪
Anyway, this post isn't about that, today I just thought that I'd share a little something with the Blurt community that I made in 2024. I think this painting was a significant leap out of my comfort zone by painting with a bigger canvas than usual, I hope you like it.

Inner Fire
I went beserk in this acrylic, spray paint and ballpoint pen painting that took me about a week, expressing the feeling of having the freeing and rebelious inner fire.
My inspiration
I got inspired by something as simple as a youtube short from a channel named "Mona-Lisa Di-Maccio". There is a great 83 year-old artist that makes things I find really interesting. In one of them, his daughter makes a little drawing and is asked for him to recreate it. I found the ladys' face in the final painting very nice, so I added my own little touch to it.
A nice thing about my painting is that it brought me an unforgettable memory of taking spray cans outside into the grass spraying and splatting acrylic paint onto a blank canvas (and getting paint all over my crocs in the process). 😂
