Hello friends; or shall I say Blurtians! Welcome back to another post of mine. Usually, when I'm on Blurt, I try to make comments on the posts of others everyday to interact with the community as much as possible in my free time, but lately things have been busy!

Today, I would like to share with you some more of my sketchbook art from this year before we hit the magical ✨2025!

Although, I couldn't just make a compilation of all of my art from this year in one post, because almost everything I make holds a chunk of my heart, so I would like to get each and every one of them their own little spot on my blog. ❤️

The paintings in this post were all mostly done with watercolor, gouache and black and white ballpoint pens!

I hope you enjoy!

This painting is referenced from a picture from one of my favorite German books called "Die schönsten Märchen der Brüder Grimm". Or "The best stories from the Brothers Grimm", some of Germanys most famous stories from the most famous two writers from back in the 1800's. Rapunzel was included. Yes, Rapunzel is German! Which is what this watercolor piece depicts.

I like this one, it was referenced from one of Edward Robert Hughes's most famous painting named "Midsummer Eve". Which I love, becuase I like anything mystical and superstitious, especially if it has fairies. It is said to be painted somewhere around 1890-1914 and I think it's still wonderful.

Thank you for reading and stopping by at my blog and checking out some of the art I have for you! I hope you enjoyed it and I wish everyone a nice day and happy holidays! 🎉
