Hodejegerne - Are those we choose to trust really trustworthy?

Are those we choose to trust really trustworthy? These and similar questions often occupy my mind because no matter how we live or what kind of work we do, problems start when the sense of trust is lost. And most of these problems are psychological in nature, and when doubt creeps into people's minds, it eats away at them, so to speak.

When suspicion arises after the loss of trust, we can be at a disadvantage because we doubt everything with or without reason. It is inevitable that this disadvantage affects the whole life. Of course, there are also the personalities formed by those we choose to trust and the personalities they reflect.

The difference between the constructed personality and the projected personality is related to the person's desire to show themselves. When desired, all the bad sides can be camouflaged and shown as much as they want to be known. I don't think you need to be very clever for that. There are thousands of them around us, and we don't realize it for many years. Maybe even we are one of them.

Now I would like to introduce you to a character called Roger, who has a very respectable life and job and is married to a beautiful woman. Everything so far describes the side of Roger and his life that he wants to be known for. Everything comes at a price and that price is Roger's second life, which he does not want to be known.

The importance of the existence or loss of trust belongs to the life of the character I am introducing you to, which was turned upside down in an instant. That life story is presented in the 2011 movie Hodejegerne. While watching the character of Roger in the movie, I was constantly preoccupied with the question I started this article with; “are those we choose to trust really trustworthy?” Of course, I had my own answers, but I am sure that everyone's answer to this question will vary depending on what they hide in their own lives.

When the secrets in our lives that we don't want to be revealed, when things go to shit and soon after, when they are revealed, we will experience similar things and share similar feelings as the character Roger in the story of the movie Hodejegerne. Having more than one life and being constantly preoccupied with what to do in which life is equivalent to living your life as a psychological thriller. The examples may not be exactly the same, but I think there will be some people who will find something that fits or who will find something of themselves in a few points.

After watching some movies, scaling and comparing what happened with real life can be an answer to some of the problems. The movie offers many perspectives in this respect and the handicaps of the life Roger chooses are quite successfully portrayed. Aksel Hennie, who plays the character of Roger, gives an excellent performance in the way he separates the two lives and reflects the events that spiral out of control as things go wrong.

You can think of the movie as a story of the seen and the unseen. Think of the unseen as the lives that are meant to be kept hidden because there is no creature or creature that is unseen. There is a personality and a secondary life that he doesn't want to be revealed. The known life is quite monotonous and boring, while the unknown life is quite exciting and full of action. For the viewer, of course, the second life offers more fun moments and a gripping story.

The psychological thriller sometimes pushes the limits. While watching, you can feel the pressure on the character and become one with the story. This makes for incredible viewing pleasure, but the more you question, the deeper you think about trust and doubt, the more you have to face the consequences.

In thrillers, when the story is handled correctly, you already feel similar emotions and pressure, and when you do, you find the movie successful. The movie Hodejegerne definitely deserves to be watched with the plot that emerges after the correct processing of a very successful fiction. I say watch the movie with peace of mind and I am almost sure that you will like it.

Thank you for being here and reading. I wish everyone who will watch the movie a good time. Goodbye!
