IS DONALD TRUMP'S BOLD STANCE ON U.S DIVORCE LAW A VIOLATION OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS ON MARRIAGE OR DOES HE WANT TO PROTECT MEN FROM WOMEN WHO MIGHT WANT TO PRESS FOR DIVORCE JUST TO GET BETTER SHARE OF THEIR WEALTH?

Greetings to all the members and audience of this Community space. I am your friend, Mnkong Emmanuel Saah. And I would like to share with you what I consider a thrilling concern, that I also believe is Worth sharing with friends. The innuaguration of Donald John Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America and his innuaguration speech has captured his "hard hit stance on divorce law". And in his speech, he said he is looking into the divorce law that women should not automatically walkaway with half of a man's wealth after divorce.

° What is Trump thinking and saying about the Divorce Law?
√ President Donald Trump feels that the divorce law disproportionately favours Women, particularly wealthy men. And as the 47th President of the united State he has taken a bold stance to alter the landscape of divorce settlement which to him has became a "gold mine" and "lucrative business" for Women.
√ In his statement, President Trump emphasized that simply marrying a wealthy man should not entitle a woman to half of his fortune upon divorce. He stated "Divorce has become a very lucrative business for women in the United States, and I'm going to put an end to it"
√ Donald Trump has came forward with a new approach in which he feels that if a woman needs financial support, she should be able to borrow a maximum of $1 million dollars, provided she can have a collateral. He argued that while $1 million is not a significant amount for a wealthy man, given that she did not "work for it" I am not going to give you $25 million of my $50 million, It's my money and I worked hard for it" Trump added, he also made it clear that, regardless of the length of marriage or the presence of children, if a woman can't take care of the children post divorce, they will remain with the father.
√ By hitting hard on the divorce law , President Donald Trump in a controversial final remark asserted that, "Just because somebody marries someone who built something huge, doesn't mean they should end up like the Queen of Sheba after a divorce"
Is This a cruel necessity? Infact this statement of Trump has already sparked great debate. Many people have praised Trump's stance as a necessary change to protect the interest of men in divorce cases, while others have criticized it for potentially undermining women's rights in marital separation.
√ Looking from a related point of view, I begin to feel that President Donald Trump by protecting men especially the wealthy men, as a multi billion dollars businessman is also protecting his legacy, should such a misfortune befalls him in future. Life is unpredictable, and anything can happen and it is necessary to take precautions to avoid victimization. Maybe President Donald Trump is doing just what anyone with such huge wealth in his position would do considering the heart of man, to protect his legacy for posterity
