The economy is rough right now for working people and inflationary events are different from deflationary events.
How bad the economy is to you depends on your station in life and where you live. If you're well off, this economy isn't so bad. If you live paycheck to paycheck, the inflation for consumer durables has made you question your sanity.
I believe a deflationary process will occur eventually. It is just not possible for inflation to ravage the economy and consumer to which 70% of the total economy rests upon. But how long will this persist? I really think that this could ke p going for longer than any can anticipate.
I hope we see a crash soon. It would help correct some issues and would help me sleep better at night, as I am doing everything I can to outrun inflationary pressure.
