There is a lonliness epidemic, and it's getting worse. People spend their lives in front of screens and isolate themselves at home.
I'm 40 and when I was growing up it was very rare to be isolated. We needed community, and this was before everything went online. We needed to work together to overcome instances and obstacles and even bullies. People need to get together and make real life friends, which is difficult. The pandemic Lockdowns didn't help this either.
