Large Coastal Cities Have Become Hell on Earth- Here's Why

Large liberal cities on both coasts of the United States have become hellscapes. The urban flight, druggies on the streets, crime and taxes made my life hell and I have heard similar stories from other former residents of large cities on the coasts.

As a former resident of Seattle, Washington, I have seen first hand the Hell that liberal politics has done to my former city. Lax drug laws, soft crime policies and de-funding of the police, extreme taxes (that are regressive) and an influx of unhinged residents has made Seattle unlivable.

Large cities attract criminals and drug users who enjoy the handouts and lack of consistent enforcement. I have seen first hand how a lack of law enforcement leads to urban decay. The large cities attract employers who typically move to ring suburbs and snarl traffic as well.

We need to focus on bringing back consistent law enforcement to these cities, lowering taxes and having a zero-tolerance policy for drug abuse. Addicts are enabled and not just by lawmakers and law enforcement but by citizens as well. We need to make common sense strides during our election season.

I moved to the American Southwest and am glad I did. I found sanity outside of the coasts, and will never go back again.
