Spirit Airlines is a budget airline with a lot to offer passengers. The business model of Spirit Airlines is to provide the basics and make sure that passengers get home safely.
Spirit Airlines has been suffering, and declared that that would pursue a more luxury service for their customers. This is in opposition to their budget image, and would make a huge change in their business model that doesn't make sense given their image and reputation.
I will miss Spirit Airlines if they do go bankrupt. I have flown on Spirit Airlines and have invested into their stock for years. They are famous for their cheap flights and I don't want them to vanish. Hopefully this can be a Chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy and Spirit can still operate.
