And now, after some months, I come back with my usual post about PUD, an initiative that lives on several blockchain-based social platforms. In the case of BLURT, this day is known as BPUD (or Blurt Power Up Day).
PUD is the acronym of Power Up Day, a day in which users use their own tokens, reinvesting them in staking activities. In case of BLURT, the “powerupped” tokens will make up the BLURT POWER.
The BP (Blurt Power) is the total amount of BLURT tokens reinvested in staking activity, and constitutes the “power” of the individual user on the platform. This type of parameter influences the quantity of BLURTs released by the blockchain that the user who owns the BP is able to determine with his upvotes, as well as the influence during the voting of the proposals.
Let's start: The BLURT price
Below you will find the chart taken on the Coingecko website, about the market value of the BLURT token in USD, updated on May 3, 2024, at 19.00 approximately, UTC+2 time zone. The value of BLURT at the time of the screenshot was 0.001841 USD.
The chart examines the value during the last 30 days. During this period, the value of BLURT followed an about-steady downtrend.
Other BLURT Data
In a report published a few months ago, I introduced some parameters which I had started checking. If you want more info about, read the BLURT POWER UP POST in which I talked about.
Specifically, these parameters are:
Blurt's Inflation Rate,
ie how many new BLURT the blockchain will release in a year, compared to the total amount of BLURT already in circulation. The value is now equal to about 8.42%.the APR of our BLURT POWER,
ie how much interest you will receive (in the form of BLURT POWER) compared to our current BLURT POWER. Now, this parameter is equal to 2.11% approximately. It isn't applicable to the liquid BLURT we have in our wallet, but only to the BLURT POWER;
and the BLURT'S GLOBAL INFLUENCE FRACTION, but I decided to remove it because – at the moment – the monthly gains don't have a big relevance.
To give a more practical overview, I also decided to introduce a fourth metric: the number of BLURT tokens powered up over a month versus the amount of BLURT tokens generated over a month. What does it mean? I try to explain myself better.
A month ago, the blockchain released (since its origin) a X number of BLURT tokens; a month later, the number of tokens reached Y; therefore there is a difference equal to Y-X which is equal to the number of new BLURT tokens released by the blockchain in a month.
Similarly, a month ago we had Z amount of BLURT tokens locked as BLURT POWER and after a month we have an amount equal to W amount locked as BLURT POWER; therefore, we have a difference equal to W-Z which, if it is a positive number, means that there has been an increase of tokens present as BLURT POWER. If it is negative, it means that the power-down processes have released an amount of liquid BLURT tokens greater than the amount of BLURT POWER generated by the blockhain in that period (in this case, a month).
If the W-Z difference is a positive number, then: dividing the W-Z difference by the Y-X difference, and multiplying by 100, i.e. fulfilling the operation:
we obtain the percentage about how much new BLURT tokens released in the last month have been locked as BLURT POWER.
For the last month (from April 1 to May 1, 2024), the percentage is about 101.35%. This means that more than the entire amount of BLURT tokens generated in the last month has been staked as BLURT POWER.

I completed a POWER UP with the amount I earned in the last months, reaching a total powerupped amount of 3000 BLURT. Instead, I left on Hive Engine the BLURT tokens I bought there. If you want to know more about how to buy and sell there, you can READ MY PREVIOUS EXPLANATION POST. So, I power-upped 3 000 BLURT, thanks to which I passed the 75K BLURT POWER milestone.

E oggi, dopo alcuni mesi, torno con il mio solito post a tema PUD, un'iniziativa comune a molte piattaforme social improntate su blockchain. Nel caso di BLURT, questa giornata prende il nome di BPUD (o Blurt Power Up Day).
PUD è l'acronimo di Power Up Day, una giornata in cui gli utenti utilizzano i propri token e li reinvestono in attività di staking. Nel caso di BLURT, i token “poweruppati” vanno a costituire il BLURT POWER.
Il BP (Blurt Power) è l'ammontare totale di BLURT token reinvestiti in attività di staking, e costituisce il “potere” del singolo utente sulla piattaforma. Questo tipo di parametro influisce sulla quantità di BLURT rilasciati dalla blockchain che l'utente proprietario del BP è in grado di determinare con i suoi upvote, oltre che rappresentare l'influenza dell'utente durante il voto delle "proposals".
Iniziamo: Valore di BLURT
Qui sotto trovi il grafico preso da Coingecko sul valore di mercato del token BLURT espresso in dollari americani, aggiornato alle ore 19:00 circa del 3 Maggio 2024, fuso orario UTC+2. Il valore al momento dello screenshot era 0.001841 USD.
Il grafico prende in esame le variazioni di valore degli ultimi 30 giorni. Sembra che in questo periodo il valore di BLURT abbia seguito un pressappoco costante trend al ribasso.
Altri parametri su BLURT
In un report pubblicato il mese scorso, ho introdotto dei parametri che ho iniziato a monitorare. Se vuoi più info al riguardo, puoi leggere il BLURT POWER UP POST nel quale ne parlo.
Nello specifico, questi parametri sono:
il Tasso d'Inflazione di Blurt,
cioè la percentuale che indica: il rapporto tra la quantità di nuovi BLURT rilasciati nell'arco di tempo di un anno, rispetto ai BLURT già presenti in circolazione a oggi. Il valore è oggi pari a circa 8.42%.l'APR del nostro BLURT POWER,
cioè quanti interessi verranno accreditati in un anno in forma di BLURT POWER rispetto al BLURT POWER in nostro possesso oggi. Attualmente questo valore è pari a circa il 2.11%. Esso non vale per i BLURT liquidi che abbiamo nel nostro portafoglio, ma soltanto per il BLURT POWER;
la FRAZIONE D'INFLUENZA GLOBALE di Blurt, ma ho deciso di rimuoverla poiché – al momento – le variazioni mensili sembrano avere poca rilevanza.
Per dare una panoramica più pratica, ho deciso di introdurre anche un quarto parametro: il numero di token BLURT poweruppati nell'arco di un mese rispetto alla quantità di token BLURT generati nell'arco di un mese. Che cosa significa? Provo a spiegarmi meglio.
Un mese fa, la blockchain aveva rilasciato (a partire dal momento della sua nascita) una quantità di BLURT pari a un numero X; un mese dopo, il numero di token generati è arrivato a Y; c'è quindi una differenza pari a Y-X che è uguale al numero di nuovi BLURT token generati dalla blockchain in questo mese.
Allo stesso modo, un mese fa avevamo un numero di token BLURT bloccati in forma di BLURT POWER pari a una quantità Z e dopo un mese ne abbiamo una quantità W; quindi, abbiamo una differenza pari a W-Z che, se è un numero positivo, significa che è avvenuto un aumento di token presenti in forma di BLURT POWER. Se è negativa, significa che i processi di power down hanno rilasciato una quantità di BLURT token liquidi maggiore della quantità di BLURT POWER che è stata generata dalla blockchain in quel lasso di tempo (in questo caso, un mese).
Se la differenza W-Z è un numero positivo, allora: dividendo la differenza W-Z con la differenza Y-X, e poi moltiplicando per 100, cioè svolgendo l'operazione:
otteniamo la percentuale indicante quanti dei nuovi token BLURT rilasciati in questo mese siano stati bloccati in forma di BLURT POWER.
Valutando l'ultimo mese, questa percentuale è pari a circa il 101.35%. Questo significa che un ammontare superiore alla somma totale dei token BLURT rilasciati tra i giorni 1 Aprile e 1 Maggio 2024 è stato bloccato in forma di BLURT POWER.

Ho effettuato un POWER UP con l'ammontare che ho guadagnato negli scorsi mesi, raggiungendo un totale poweruppato di 3000 BLURT. Invece ho lasciato su Hive Engine i token BLURT che ho comprato lì.
