Cooking Snail in Coconut Milk With Horseradish

Ginataang suso or snail with coconut milk is an exotic Filipino dish. There are many kind of snails that can be cooked. When I was young my grandma used to cook ginataang suso but at that time I didn't dare to eat it because that kind of snail was slimy so only consumed the soup. When I get married and live in Mindanao where my husband's place is I got to taste another ginataang suso but this time it's another kind of snail. I must say it was a delicious kind of snail. It's not slimy unlike those large snails that my grandma used to cook. I love eating that kind of snail.

Few weeks ago my husband bought another kind of snail from someone pass by where he work. This is my first time seeing this. He said these were freshly picked from the Agus River. A river that is very far from where we are. He told me that this is delicious especially when cook in coconut milk. So I washed it, prepared the needed ingredients then cook for our lunch.
