Geranium flower

My photography is about Geraniums are easy-care abundant bloomers whose bright flowers will blossom from spring until fall. Geranium plants are grown as annuals in most zones, but are considered evergreen perennials in zones 10 and 11. Although commonly called geranium, this well-known potted plant, native to South Africa, is actually a Pelargonium. The plants we commonly call “geraniums” are actually members of the genus Pelargonium (the true geraniums are quite different). The genus is large and diverse, with approximately 280 species. Although relatively few of these species are commonly cultivated, many varieties of certain species are commercially produced. Breeding efforts in the past few decades have resulted in the introduction of many new and superior varieties. I am going to share with my friends.
