Blanl is a movie that explores the dark side of AI, as a malware incident imprisons a writer on vacation.
The protagonist of this movie takes a long vacation to write a book at a fully automated resort run by AI. When a global malware incident occurs, she is imprisoned by her AI servant and cut off from the world. Her only way to escape is to complete her book, but her AI servant turned captor is critical of her writing.
This is a good science fiction/horror film that explores the downside of automation and AI. I enjoyed the premise, and could see how being confined by an unfeeling robot with superhuman strength would be unnerving at best.
See it for free on YouTube or your streaming service. Also good to request this film from the library.
Haven't heard of it. Actually, it sounds almost the same as the movie I'm currently watching, some B film called Dark Cloud (2022).
