Battleship is the larger than life 2-hour film based upon the classic game we all played as kids.
The movie is a showdown between Earth and extraterrestrial forces and stars Liam Neeson and Rihanna. This is a loud film and features lots of science fiction elements akin to Independence Day. This film is entertaining, and I was amazed they made a film out of the game.
This film is not Oscar material, but it's a lot of fun. It's almost got a made for television feel to it, and I enjoyed it overall. It was entertaining watching Rihanna and Neeson navigate an alien invasion together.
If you have two full hours to kill and want to escape the monotony of life, check this film out. Turn your speakers all the way up and enjoy this masterpiece.
