Memento is the 2001 action movie staring Guy Pearce as a man with short-term memory loss who must solve the mystery of his wife's murder. The film is shot well and seeing it is a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Pearce does a great job in this unique role. The film is shot from his perspective, and he tattoos his memories to keep himself on track. Pearce is often unaware of his predicament during action scenes and makes the best of his situation while pursuing vigilante justice for his wife.

This film came out around 9/11 when the whole world changed. Films were amazing around this time and we had been spoiled by Minority Report, The Matrix and many other great cinematic gems of the time. This movie sticks out in my mind, and seeing it again was jarring as it brought back memories of this time period for me vividly.
